About the Kennel

Forest Ridge Kennel is a lodge style boarding kennel just minutes from the beltline. Located on 6 1/2 wooded acres, Forest Ridge Kennel is a family owned and operates with an owner on site.

Equipped with 95 dog enclosures and 10 cat enclosures, Forest Ridge Kennel is a place for your pet to have a luxury vacation while you are away.

All dog enclosures feature radiant floor heating and central air conditioning. There is an air ventilation system to provide clean, fresh air continuously. All enclosures also feature indoor/outdoor runs, privacy dividers, and separate floor drains for the utmost in cleanliness. Playtime, nature walks, and treat breaks are some of the optional activities for all dogs.

The cat room is full of entertainment to assure that your cat does not get bored during his or her stay. A fish tank, videos, as well as outdoor viewing areas fulfill the curiousity of the cat. The cat area has its own separate ventilation system.

The owners are all dedicated pet lovers with lifelong experience in animal care. They are all graduates of the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
